Today, news came out that the next Samsung phone, the Galaxy S25, will have the same battery as the one before it. Just like the S24, the S25 will have a 4,000 mAh battery. Battery size has been a big concern for Samsung’s regular S phones. The S20 and S21 had a 4,000 mAh battery, then it went down to 3,700 mAh in the S22, up to 3,900 mAh in the S23, and back to 4,000 mAh in the S24. Now, it seems there won’t be any change in 2025. Even though the standard model is the smallest, many of Samsung’s Chinese rivals have lately raised their battery capacities. So, it’s not good that in January 2025, the S25 will still have the same battery as the S20 did in 2020.
