According to a new report, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S24 FE will feature the same main camera as the Galaxy S24, S23, and S23 FE. This includes a 50 MP resolution, a 1/1.57″ sensor size, and 1.0μm pixels. While this isn’t surprising given Samsung’s tendency to recycle components, those expecting a different camera setup now have clarity.
The S24 FE is anticipated to launch in late fall at the earliest, though it might not appear until early 2025. It’s possible some markets will see it at the end of this year, with wider availability following next year, similar to the release timeline of its predecessor.
The S24 FE is rumored to have the model number SM-S721 and the codename R12 (with the S23 FE being codenamed R11). While these are the current details available, more information about the S24 FE is expected to emerge in the coming weeks.
