Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
People online aren’t happy with Google’s new smartphone naming scheme, even though it makes perfect sense. The lineup includes the standard Pixel 9, two Pro models of varying sizes, and a Pro Fold—because at this price point, the “Pro” label is almost mandatory.
Now, that same crowd might not appreciate Samsung’s rumored direction for future branding. According to a tipster at X, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could be rebranded as the Galaxy S26 Note, highlighting its built-in S Pen.
But that is not all The Galaxy S26+ could be renamed the Galaxy S26 Pro, as Samsung seems to have noticed the “pro” trend that’s missing from its current lineup.
It’s still early days, and even the source suggests that Samsung is merely mulling these changes, so nothing is in store just yet.
