The base models of the Realme 13 series are almost here. Following the launch of the Pro Series a few weeks ago, the Realme 13 and Realme 13 Plus are finally set to make their debut. Realme has now confirmed the launch date for both devices, and here’s what their latest teaser reveals.
Both models are expected to feature 5G capabilities, although the exact number of devices being unveiled wasn’t specified in the teaser. Based on Realme’s typical lineup segmentation, we anticipate the Realme 13 and Realme 13 Plus to be the highlights. The teaser also confirms that the launch will take place on August 29th, with India being the first market to receive the series before it expands to other regions.
Realme is heavily promoting the series as the fastest in its segment, boasting Dimensity 7300 Energy chipsets. They seem confident in this claim, with each phone potentially scoring up to 750,000 points on AnTuTu. With such a powerful chipset and high RAM options, achieving that score seems feasible.
However, the teaser didn’t specify which model would feature the Dimensity 7300 Energy. Fortunately, we have some inside information. A recent Geekbench scoresheet revealed the performance scores of the Realme 13 5G, which is equipped with a Dimensity 6300 SoC.
This suggests that the impressive Antutu scores touted in the teaser belong to the Realme 13 Plus, powered by the Dimensity 7300 Energy. In comparison, the Realme 13 5G may offer slightly lower performance. The Geekbench listing also confirmed that the standard Realme 13 will come with Android 14 and 8GB of RAM.
