Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 has officially launched in Pakistan, marking a significant milestone for the local market. Fans have eagerly awaited its arrival, and they won’t have to wait much longer for the Galaxy Z Fold 6, which is expected to join its sibling soon. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 focuses on internal upgrades and enhanced AI capabilities while maintaining a similar design to its predecessor.
The phone features a 6.7-inch foldable AMOLED display, a Dynamic LTPO panel with a refresh rate of 1-120Hz, and a 1080p resolution. The brightness has been increased to an impressive 2600 nits. The cover screen, on the other hand, is a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a 720p resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate, designed for minimal use cases.
One of the most significant upgrades this year is the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which delivers an 18% faster CPU, a 19% faster GPU, and a 42% faster NPU. This performance boost has given Samsung the confidence to offer 7 years of OS support for the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
The base RAM has been increased from 8GB to 12GB, and the model available in Pakistan comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Additionally, the battery capacity has been increased by 300mAh, bringing it up to 4000mAh, which should provide extra screen-on time compared to the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
However, the charging capabilities remain unchanged, with 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The camera setup has received a notable upgrade, with a 50 MP primary camera and a 12 MP ultra-wide camera. The 10 MP selfie camera is housed within the display.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is more durable than its predecessors, featuring an IP48 rating and an Armor Aluminum build. It also includes WiFi 6e, Bluetooth 5.3, and runs on One UI 6.1.1 with Android 14. In Pakistan, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is priced at Rs 385,000/-.
