Apple is set to produce the iPhone 16 Pro series in India for the first time, marking a significant shift in its Pro series manufacturing outside of China. According to Bloomberg, Foxconn India will begin assembling the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max at its Indian facilities just weeks after their launch.
The iPhone 16 Pro will be available in White, Black, Grey, and Gold, with Titanium finishes in the same colors.
Apple has been assembling iPhones in India for seven years, and a recent report indicates that India now accounts for 14% of total iPhone production. This figure is expected to rise to 25% as soon as next year, with Apple rumored to begin exclusive production of the iPhone 17 in India.
