Vivo X200 and X200 Pro released the X100 and X100 Pro in late November last year, but their successors are expected to arrive earlier, according to a new report from China. The X200 and X200 Pro are now rumored to launch in early October, shortly after Apple’s iPhone 16 family is released later this month.
With this timing, the X200 and X200 Pro will compete directly with Apple’s new models in China, where Vivo was the top smartphone seller in July and August. In the premium segment, Vivo ranks third, behind Huawei and Apple.
The X200 and X200 Pro are rumored to feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 SoC. The X200 is expected to have a 6.3-inch flat OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and “1.5K” resolution, a 50 MP main camera with a Sony sensor, a 50 MP 3x periscope zoom camera, and a 50 MP ultrawide camera. It may come with a 5,500-5,600 mAh battery supporting 90W wired charging.
The X200 Pro is rumored to offer a curved “1.5K” 120 Hz OLED display, a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera (possibly from the X100 Ultra), a 50 MP main sensor with a large aperture, and a 50 MP ultrawide camera. It could feature a 6,000 mAh or larger battery, along with IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance and an improved vibration motor.
