Support pages for the Galaxy S24 FE have recently gone live on Samsung’s official website, sparking anticipation for the smartphone. While Samsung has yet to make an official announcement, a report from ETNews suggests that the Galaxy S24 FE will be released globally in October, with the Galaxy A16 following in December.
A recent leak has provided detailed information about the Galaxy S24 FE, leaving little to the imagination. According to the leak, the smartphone will be powered by the Exynos 2400e SoC and will run on One UI 6.1.1. It will feature a 4,565 mAh battery, which Samsung will promote as offering up to 78 hours of music playback and up to 29 hours of video playback.
The Galaxy S24 FE is expected to be water-resistant and will boast a 6.7″ FullHD+ 120Hz display with 1,900 nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. The display will include a centered punch-hole cutout for the 10MP front-facing camera. On the rear, the device will sport a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
The smartphone is rumored to be available in yellow, silver/white, graphite, green, and blue color options, with two additional colors exclusively offered through Samsung’s website.
