Redmi Pad Pro introduced its 5G-capable version back in May, and now it’s set to debut in the Indian market. The Redmi Pad Pro 5G will launch in India on July 29, as confirmed by the brand through its social media channels and a dedicated microsite for the upcoming device.
Redmi emphasizes the Pad Pro’s features, highlighting that its screen is 33% larger than the Redmi Pad. It supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, boasts “loud and clear” quad speakers, offers 33+ days of standby battery life and 12-hour video playback time, has a 120 Hz screen refresh rate, and provides enhanced interconnectivity through Xiaomi’s HyperOS. The 5G connectivity also promises “go anywhere, do anything” freedom.

The Redmi Pad Pro 5G features a 12.1-inch 1600×2560 LCD touchscreen, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, 6/8GB of RAM, 128/256GB of expandable storage, two 8 MP cameras (front and back), and a 10,000 mAh battery with 33W wired charging support. It runs on Android 14 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS.
Additionally, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G will be joined by the Redmi Pad SE 4G in India on July 29, as revealed by Redmi last week. This is expected to be a variant of the Redmi Pad SE with added 4G connectivity.
