iPhone 16.

All models of the iPhone 16 come with 8GB of RAM.

Apple typically doesn’t disclose the amount of RAM in its iPhones, so we usually rely on teardowns to determine the specifics. However, this time, a new report from MacRumors, in collaboration with iSWUpdates, suggests that all four iPhone 16 models, announced yesterday, feature 8GB of RAM.

This means that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max maintain the same amount of RAM as their predecessors, while the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus have received a 2GB increase compared to the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.

This upgrade may explain why the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus won’t support the Apple Intelligence feature set, while the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will, once it launches in October.

The iPhone 16 lineup will be available for pre-order starting Friday, September 13, and will go on sale on Friday, September 20.
